Giving

In a larger church, there's a temptation to feel that your contribution doesn't make much difference. However, all of the ministry that takes place at Christ Church is enabled by the generous giving of our whole church family. We encourage every member of Christ Church to consider themselves as partners in our ministry together by supporting it financially in some way – some giving more, others less, each as their means allows.

If the idea of giving financially is new, this booklet explores what the Bible says about giving and how your money will be used to support the gospel ministry here at Christ Church.

How to give

The most helpful way to support Christ Church is to set up a standing order with your bank. Once you have decided how much to donate to the church, you can set up the arrangement with your bank and then they will automatically process your gifts each month in accordance with your instructions. It therefore saves you time, means that you don’t forget when life is busy and it helps the church with it’s financial planning.

You can quickly set up a standing order using your online or telephone banking and by quoting the bank account information below.

If you are able to enter a reference, please use your surname, first initial, and ‘regular giving’.

Gift Aid: If possible, please also complete a giving form so we know you have started to give and are clear on your gift aid status. The form is available to download using the link at the bottom of this page. Either print out a hard copy or collect one from the church office.

One off gifts: You can also make one-off gifts by cheque, charity account or direct bank transfer. Cheques should be made payable to 'Christ Church with St Andrew the Less Cambridge' (our legal name).

Completed giving forms or cheques can be passed to a member of staff to put in the Finance & HR Manager’s pigeon hole in the church office. Alternatively, completed giving forms can be emailed to our Finance & HR Manager, Bente Sivertsen-Wright or mailed to:
